1.What is MalayalamEmail.com ?

MalayalamEmail.com is a free service to send emails to your friends and relatives across the world in Malayalam.

2.How do I send email in Malayalam using malayalamemail.com?

There are 2 ways to send emails. 1) Send a quick email from the home page. No login is required for this feature. 2) You can Sign up and Login to your account and click "Compose a Mail" link. In either case, type your email message in "Manglish". For example, write like "enthokke undu visesham?" in the email message box. When you hit space key, the typed English text will be automatically changed to Malayalam. Once you finish typing, click the Send mail Now button. The email will be sent to your friend in Malayalam. If you sign up, no need to enter your email. Also friend's emails can be imported from your GMail, Yahoo, Hotmail accounts.

3. Is sending email through this site secure?

We have made it as secure as we can. Please read our privacy policy for more information.

4. Can I login to MalayalamEmail and keep track of my old emails?

Yes, you can now login to MalayalamEmail.

5. Can I import contacts from Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail etc. to MalayalamEmail?

Yes, you can now login and import your contacts from other emails to MalayalamEmail. Once you import, you can select the emails from the list.

6. How can my friend reply to the email I sent to him/her using malayalamemail.com?

We will include a link at the bottom of the mail to reply to that email in Malayalam. Your friend can click on the link, which will take him/her to malayalamemail.com. He/She does not need to type the email address or the subject.

7. Why do I get to see only these little rectangles or junk characters in the email I sent using malayalamemail.com?

You do not have Unicode supported browser or the required Unicode font installed. Please install the font here. Or contact us with specific issues. We will tell you how to fix it.

8. Can I track or manage the emails sent via malayalamemail.com?

Yes. We are not giving email hosting. However, you can login to malayalamemail.com and see your old emails. You will not be able to see replies. You will be using your email hosting service like gmail or yahoo to store your email. Please click here to Sign up.

9. Can I attach any files to my Malayalam email?

Sorry, not at this time. We may provide this feature in future.

10. Which browsers are supported ?

Currently we support Internet Explorer 7 & 8, Firefox 3.5 and Google Chrome

11. Can I type Malayalam text and copy to Microsoft Word document and vice versa?

Yes, you can do it.

12. Can I type mixed English and Malayalam text in the email?

Yes, you can do it. Press Ctrl + M to switch between English and Malayalam text
